A suspect has been arrested in a series of burglaries at St. Cloud State University.  St. Cloud police, working in conjunction with the University of Minnesota’s Police Department and S-C-S-U’s Public Safety arrested 44-year-old Kenneth Lorenzo Williams of St. Cloud Wednesday.

There has been an ongoing investigation into the burglaries dating back to April of 2009 through June of this year.  That investigation led to Williams’ arrest.  Approximately 19 university buildings were burglarized in that time frame with under similar circumstances.  The suspect forced their way into private offices and textbooks were stolen.

Williams was actually arrested in Minneapolis and was taken to the Stearns County Jail where he’s facing numerous charges of third degree burglary.
