The Benton County Sheriff’s Office needs help from the community in tracking down the suspect or suspects contacted to a string of thefts near Rice. Sheriff’s officials say they responded to eight reports of thefts from cars in the area of West Lake Road in Watab Township in the overnight hours on both Saturday and Sunday night. Items stolen include cash, wallets, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Anyone with information concerning these thefts is asked to call the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at (320) 968-7201.
