Autopsy results have determined the cause of death in a St. Cloud apartment fire that happened in March. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office says 42-year-old Timothy Orin Haukos died of an apparent heart attack and not from the fire. The St. Cloud Department says smoking in bed was the cause of the fire.

The fire happened on March 6th on the 400 block of 7th Avenue South. Firefighters helped evacuate six residents of the apartment, two of which were treated for smoke inhalation and released from the hospital.
