Archived: Man Charged for Alleged Threat to SCSU Somali Event
A man accused of making violent threats against Somalis attending a cultural event at St. Cloud State University is facing criminal charges. 49-year-old James Scott Miller of New Hope is being held in jail on a $50,000 bond. A complaint accused Miller of making terroristic threats on the Internet site Craigslist. He said he planned to bring his rifle to the Somali event for target practice. The Associated Press reports Miller admitted to police that he posted the threat.
