A high speed chase on Highway 15 ended on a driveway off a rural township road. At about 10:00 pm Tuesday, a Stearns County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to pull over a car that appeared to be speeding. The deputy says the car was clocked at speeds up to 95 miles per hour while traveling southbound on Highway 15, south of Luxemburg.

The driver attempted to evade police by pulling into a driveway. The house wasn’t his and didn’t belong to any one he knew. The driver was caught by the deputy after trying to flee on foot, and was identified as 31-year-old Lazaro Ramos of Hutchinson. Ramos was arrested for fleeing an officer and is being held in Stearns County Jail.
