Multicultural Student Services is hosting guest speaker Mahmoud El-Kati who is the author of “The Hiptionary: A Survey of African American Speech Patterns with a Digest of Key Words and Phrases.” His presentation “The Pan Africanist Journey in the 21st Century” will discuss the past, present, and future impact of oppression. El-Kati is a retired Macalester College Professor and noted lecturer, writer, and commentator. The presentation will be on Thursday, February 18th at 6 p.m. in the Atwood Center’s Theatre.
