The Saint Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, along with TDS and Stearns Bank hosted a food drive in December that brought in more than $10,000 and 243 lbs of food for local charities. That’s a 25% increase from last year. The money was deposited in a fund at the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. Stearns Bank, though the Community Charity Challenge, matched the money dollar for dollar. The cash and food will be split between the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, and the Saint Joseph Food Shelves.
