St. Cloud police have arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of stabbing two St. Cloud State students in separate incidents early Sunday morning. Both incidents reportedly happened near campus, on the 500 block of 7th Street South in St. Cloud. Police say Michael Ryan Rueckert was arrested Sunday afternoon in Clearwater. He is being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of first- and second-degree assault.
 

Police were called Sunday about 3:00 am and found two men who had been stabbed. Both men were taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where they remained hospitalized Monday. St. Cloud State University issued a crime alert Sunday identifying both victims as students there. Police say they’re not looking for any other suspects.
