A routine day at work turned into quite a hassle for a St. Cloud Yellow Cab employee when he discovered his credit card swipe machine had gone missing. Officers met the employee at the 2600 block of 7th Street North Sunday morning at about 3:30. He told the police after he gave a man and woman a ride home he discovered the machine was missing.
The suspects were identified as 22-year-old Jordan Mulcahy of Waite Park and 20-year-old Amber Lott of Saint Cloud. They were located and the swipe machine was returned to Yellow Cab.
Lott is being issued a citation for possession of stolen property and was left on the scene. Mulcahy was placed under arrest for obstructing legal process and disorderly conduct for fighting with officers. During the struggle Mulcahy spit blood into the face of an officer. He is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of fourth degree assault and false information to a police officer.
