Archived: Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes County Road 75

Three people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash that closed down County Road 75 for several hours Sunday night.  St. Cloud police were called to 3600 block of County Road 75 around 7:35 p.m.  Their investigation found that a car driven by a 20-year-old woman from St. Cloud, with a passenger in her vehicle, was traveling northbound when the driver lost control, crossed the center lane and struck another vehicle head-on that was traveling southbound on County Road 75. The driver of that car is a 27-year-old man from St. Cloud.  

As a result of the first accident the vehicle traveling southbound ran into another vehicle traveling southbound driven by a 45 year old man from St. Martin. Three people were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries.

Police are asking for any witnesses to the crashes to contact them. The state patrol and Stearns County Sheriff’s office assisted with the investigation.
