Law Enforcement officials issued 75 citations and 17 arrests last Friday night when they saturated a 10 mile stretch of road in Stearns County. The Central Minnesota Reduction of Accidents for Safe Highways Task Force, or CRASH Task Force, patrolled Division Street and County Road 75 from the Mississippi River in St. Cloud to Waite Park. The goal is to reduce serious injury and fatality crashes. In all, the task force issued 10 DWI arrests, 8 driving after withdrawal citations, 14 seat belt violations, 3 speeding tickets, and 2 “move over law” tickets. The CRASH task force is made up of officers from law enforcement agencies all over Central Minnesota.
