An immigrant born in Ecuador will be speaking about her experiences living in Chicago Friday in Atwood Little Theater. The presentation titled, "Why we Leave, a Firsthand Account of Migration to the U-S" will be presented by Nelly Ortiz. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1995 and is a founding member of Cleaning Power, a politically-conscious woman’s house cleaning cooperative in Chicago. This event starts at 2 pm and is free and open to the public.
