A 59-year-old man is in the Stearns County Jail facing assault charges after police say he threatened a woman with a knife. Thursday night at around 9:30, police responded to the 300 block of 37th Avenue North, where they say Marvin Kraig threatened a 38-year-old victim. Police say Kraig had a pocket knife when they arrived, which was identified as the knife used in the alleged assault. Kraig is being held on charges of 2nd degree assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct.
