A 77-year-old Sauk Rapids woman is injured after a crash Thursday on St. Cloud’s west side. Just before 2:00 pm, police say Violet Sell was making a left turn onto southbound 33rd Avenue when she was hit by a car driving east on 12th Street. Sell’s car proceeded to collide with another car that was stopped at the traffic light on northbound 33rd Avenue. Sell was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. She was ticketed for failing to yield to right of way.
