A balanced effort both offensively and defensively helped the St Cloud State volleyball team take Upper Iowa Tuesday night at Halenbeck Hall in three sets.
 

The Huskies took down the Peacocks by scores of 30-28, 25-11 and 25-15. SCSU had five different players record seven or more kills and three players recorded 11 digs. Senior captain Kayla Tschida led the Huskies in kills with 13 and was a beast at the net with four block assists.
 

First-year Jordan Hansen led the Huskies on the defensive side with 11 digs in the match. The Cold Spring, Minnesota native shared the kills lead with Chelsea Nagle and Ashley Shields.
 

St. Cloud is now 10-5 overall and 5-2 in the NSIC. The Huskies will be on the road this weekend as they take on Winona State on Friday and Upper Iowa on Saturday.
