ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State men’s soccer team fell to Jamestown by a final score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Jimmies were able to capitalize less than 10 minutes into the game, as Nuutti Norhomaa caught St. Cloud sleeping on defense and found the back of the net to put Jamestown up 1-0.

The Huskies weren’t able to create too many scoring opportunities, with the exception of Andres Garcia, Yousif Atia, and Johan Lopez getting a couple of good looks.

In the 83rd minute of the game, Norhomaa struck again to put the nail in the coffin, drilling his second goal of the night past Huskies goalie Erik Willke. Despite the loss, 17 different Huskies were able to see the field in the non-conference test.

St. Cloud falls to 1-3 on the season and is set to take on UI-Springfield this Saturday, September 12, in what will be their final non-conference game of the regular season.
