Chris Newberry, a Minnesotan filmmaker, has spent the last four years working on a documentary that follows a story that we all unfortunately know all too well about.

Newberry and his team began filming with the Wetterling family in 2015, just as word came of an arrest in their son’s case and now the project is in need of some financial help.

Newberry and his team will be hosting a Trailer Release Party on June 3^rd at Bad Habit Brewing in St. Joseph from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available online or can be purchased at the door for $10. All proceeds will go towards getting the film through post-production.

The event will include discussions from the filmmakers on the journey this project has taken them on, Patty and Jerry Wetterling will also speak, as well as the showing of the Trailer for the project.
