A scary crash in Roseville Township just south of Paynesville has left a woman hospitalized in critical condition.

The Minnesota State Patrol says that George Albert Hooper of Brainerd was driving east on Highway 23 with his wife, Janice Darlene Hooper, in the car, when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi.

Willmar first responders took Janice Hooper to the Hennepin County Medical Center where she is being treated for serious life threatening injuries. George Albert Hooper was found with alcohol in his system at the time of the crash.
