One of the main entry points to St. Cloud State University will be unavailable starting Tuesday and the detour will be in place for a couple of weeks.

The city of St. Cloud is working on 4th Ave. S. and 5th Ave. S., going to 16th St. S., which connects with 9th Ave S. If you travel in and out of campus on 16th Street South toward the National Hockey Center and campus sports facilities you know this road needs repairing.

The current pavement is being removed and replaced along with new road striping. The resurfacing portion of this project is scheduled to last approximately two weeks. During this time, traffic will be detoured around the area. 

Additionally, the university’s M and R Lots will be closed during these two weeks.  If you have an M Lot permit, please park in V Lot.  If you have an R Lot permit, please park in G or N Lot.
