A man has been arrested in sexual assault incident.

The Ottertail County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center responded to text messages from a woman stating that she had been sexually assaulted in a semi by the driver. The incident allegedly happened in Stearns County.

The semi was heading westbound on I-94 when Minnesota State Patrol troopers conducted a traffic stop on the truck.  The Clay Sheriff’s Office says the woman was taken to a hospital by Clay Country deputies and an adult man was taken into custody.

The investigation is still on-going and the identity of the woman will not be released.
