The Stearns County Sheriff’s department responded to a 911 caller, reporting that a motorcycle had crashed at the intersection of River Street and 4^th Street West in Holdingford.

Twenty-two-year-old Benjamin Micheal Scegura was driving the motorcycle when it crashed. 

Scegura told deputies that he hit a puddle of water, causing him to lose control and lay the motorcycle down on its side, but investigators at the scene believe alcohol was a factor.

Scegura was not carrying any passengers and also wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the St. Cloud Hospital and the crash is still under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
