An Eden Prairie man was hospitalized after a car crash with non-life threatening injuries.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says that 21-year-old Alexander Holb was headed east on County Road 44 near St. Augusta when his truck left the roadway. The truck went airborne for nearly 25 yards before it crashed into a cornfield damaging multiple rows of crops.

Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash after deputies determined that it didn’t look like the driver tried to slow down before leaving the road.

The crash sent Holb to the St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
