St. Cloud State University is proud to announce that a statue of Herb Brooks will be revealed just before the Men’s hockey game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

The dedication of the statue will take place near the main entrance of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, and the public is invited to attend the event. 

Herb Brooks coached at St. Cloud State during the 1986-87 season and helped the program reach the NCAA Division One Level in 1987-88.  Brooks was also a key factor in the initial construction of the hockey facility at St. Cloud State.
