Beginning September 1, the Wright County Recycling center will no longer accept tree stumps.

Wright County recommends stumps be buried to allow decomposition, and that stumps can be burned by acquiring a burn permit, or they can be brought to demolition landfills.

Wright County apologizes for any inconvenience.
