ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud Tech gymnasium was home to the second match of the season for the Tigers on Tuesday. Fergus Falls came to town, and the two teams provided a very exciting five-set match.

All five sets featured a run by one team or the other to surge ahead and claim victory. First set was close to start and then the Otters got hot mid set, the Tigers fought back but came up short losing 25-19.

The second set saw the first points back and forth and then it was the Tigers’ turn to get hot and finished off the Otters  25-16.

Set three saw the Otters start fast and continued the entire set. The Tigers looked frustrated as they just couldn’t get going and dropped set three 25-9.

In a must win to continue the Tigers pulled it together for a very solid 25-15 win to force a set five.

The way the night was going the team to get on a roll first was going to prevail, unfortunately for the home team Tigers it was the Otters who came out hot and put together a string of points to lead and were first to 10. The Tigers did clawback to get within two at times but just couldn’t sustain the run to pull ahead and dropped the 5^th set 15-12.

The Tigers are 0-1 in conference and 1-1 overall.
