Archived: Businesses Fail Alcohol And Tobacco Compliance Checks
Nine local businesses failed the St. Cloud Police’s alcohol and tobacco compliance tests.
This summer St. Cloud Police say they sent underage individuals to businesses to see if they would be able to buy either tobacco or alcohol without having property identification.
Three of the 54 businesses that sell tobacco failed the compliance test including the Electric Fetus, Speed Stop on 9th, and St. Cloud Tobacco. Six of the 78 businesses that sell alcohol failed the compliance test including Biology 701, MT’s on 8th, Municipal Athletic Complex, RJ’s American Grill, Shooters, and Southway Bowl.
The businesses are facing charges of Underage Sale of Alcohol or Tobacco.
