St. Cloud Police were called to the 1400 block of 5th Avenue South just before midnight Wednesday for a reported sexual assault in progress. Police say 44-year-old Obatay Ogumola Powell of St. Cloud pushed an underage girl against a wall inside an apartment and touched her inappropriately. Powell was then physically assaulted by 26-year-old Sylvester Columbus Johnson of St. Cloud who was in the apartment during the sexual assault, according to police.

Both Powell and Johnson were arrested and taken to the Stearns County jail. Powell was arrested for felony fourth and fifth degree criminal sexual conduct and Johnson was arrested for fifth degree assault and obstructing the legal process.

The victim of the sexual assault was not physically injured.
