On Sunday night St. Cloud Police were called to the library located at the 1300 block of West St. Germain Street. Officers met with a 32-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman who said that they were threatened at knife point by Jay Eric Peterson.

None of the victims received any injuries and one of them said that Peterson showed a knife while the threats were being made. Peterson was later located underneath the Granite City Bridge and taken into custody. Peterson is being held at the Stearns County Jail on charges of 2nd degree assault and making terroristic threats.
