Archived: Little Falls Arts In The Park This Sunday
Arts in the Park kicks off its 19th year at Maple Island Park in Little Falls this Sunday, June 10 with help from local musicians Sheldon and Lynda. The country-bluegrass duo will be performing for the third time at Arts in the Parks and have been performing together since 2006. The performance will begin at 4:30 p.m. and go to 6 p.m.
It is the first of nine concerts that will take place this summer as a part of the Arts in the Park series. The events range from country-bluegrass to heavy metal, featuring performers such as Adam Hammer & Dave Coffell, Sons of Knut, Harper’s Chord, and Get the Gun.
Arts in the Park is produced by the Performing Arts Committee, a volunteer group that work with the Great River Arts Association. All of the events are free and open to everyone. The Great River Arts Association will be accepting donations during the event which will go towards paying the artists.
