The Granite City Brass Quintet will kick-off the 13th year of Music in the Gardens this Sunday, June 10 at 3 p.m. in the Munsinger Gardens. The Quintet will soothe the banks of the Mississippi River with classical brass selections from the 18th century and beyond, including classical, folk, and broadway selections.

The group of Steve Hogenson, Heidi Mertinson, Patty Diederichs, Kenton Frohip, and John Ingman has been playing together for over five years and has produced two CD’s: Music in the Park and A Granite City Christmas.

Music in the Gardens takes place in the Munsinger Gardens throughout the summer and features music from local artists and beyond. Below is a complete listing of the dates and artists performing at Music in the Gardens 2012.
