The Minnesota Department of Agriculture and Sherburne County will offer a free nitrate water-testing clinic on Tuesday, May 22nd at the Becker Community Center. The clinic is the latest in a series of water-testing clinics sponsored by MDA.

 Experts recommended that homeowners who get their drinking water from wells should test their water regularly. MDA Commissioner Dave Frederickson said that nitrates in drinking water can be a risk to human health.

The clinic will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
