The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from the Holdingford Gas & and Grocery for an accident yesterday.

Sheriff John Sanner says 18-year-old Chelsea Gerads of Albany was driving her Chevrolet Impala when she pulled into the parking lot and attempted to stop, inadvertently pressing the accelerator and crashing into the side of the building.

The building took substantial damage to the wall and block work and both bathrooms have been damaged significantly, but no one was hurt in the accident.
