On Friday morning the St. Stephen Fire and Rescue Department and the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were called to a car crash with injuries.

The driver, 71-year-old Jeanette Marie Fiedler of Rice was driving southbound on County Road 2 when she went off the road striking a field approach and launching the car into the air briefly before landing in the ditch.

Fiedler was alone in the car. She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance.
