A man is in the hospital after crashing his vehicle into three parked vehicles on Tuesday.

Saint Cloud Police, along with the St. Cloud Fire Department and Gross Cross, were called to the 800 block of 2nd Street North regarding a vehicular personal injury accident at 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say that a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Michael Douglas Cater, a man with no permanent address, left the road while westbound at a high rate of speed, and crashed into three separate parked vehicles and pushed one into a storage shed belonging to the Stearns County Maintenance Department.

Carter was the only person hurt and was taken from his car by the fire department. Gold Cross took him to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigation is still ongoing as to the exact cause.
