A Minneapolis man is in jail after allegedly assaulting another man at RumRunner’s Bar.

St. Cloud police were called to RumRunners at around 1:10 a.m. Sunday. A police investigation found that 19-year-old Benjamin Randolph Byer of Minneapolis had allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old man from Forest Lake.

Officers made contact with the victim, who stated he had been punched in the face multiple times by a white male in dread locks whom he did not know. Byer was identified by bar staff and found standing outside the bar.

Byer was taken to the Stearns County Jail for charges of 3rd degree assault.
