A series of workshops will be hosted next week with a focus on “The N-Word”.

“The N-Word: Is there a message within the madness?” will be looking at the question: Does it still generate the same reaction, invite the same feelings and raise the same concerns as it did in the 20th Century.

An Educator’s Workshop will take place in Stewart Hall 108 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11th. On Thursday, April 12th a number of workshops will take place which include a St. Cloud State Staff workshop will go from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Peach Room, a St. Cloud State Student workshop will go from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Miller Center Auditorium, a reception will take place from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. in the Herberger School of Business fourth floor lobby, and a Community Workshop at Apollo High School will go from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“The N-Word” will be presented by Eddie Moore and is sponsored by the St. Cloud Area School District 742, the Central MN Community Foundation, and the City of St. Cloud.
