Stearns County is beginning the process of re-drawing its Commissioner District lines. The district boundaries are re-drawn to reflect the population increases and shifts from the census. The process is needed to ensure that residents of each district are equally represented.

Commissioners are schedule to review preliminary redistricting plans at their March 27th County Board Meeting. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday April 10th at the Stearns County Administration Center.

Nine different preliminary plans were drafted and are available for the public to view on the Stearns County web site.
