Archived: St. Cloud Rox Get New Broadcaster
The St. Cloud Rox will have a new voice when their inaugural season begins this summer. The team is announcing that Zack Fisch will serve as the team’s play-by-play broadcaster for the 2012 season. Fisch is a well-known voice around the St. Cloud area.
He currently serves as KVSC’s Sports Director and has been the voice of St. Cloud State Hockey for the past four years. He is also a four-time Minnesota Associated Press award winner. Fisch spent the 2011 season as the broadcaster for another Northwoods League team, the Rochester Honkers along with serving as studio producer for the River Bats radio Network in 2010.
All 70 Rox games will be broadcast on 1390 AM The Fan. The season kicks of May 30 in Duluth. The inaugural home opener is set for June 2nd at Joe Faber Field.
