A St. Cloud man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a person with his vehicle. St. Cloud Police were called to the 500 block of Highway 10 South in response to an accident with injuries just after 8 p.m. Sunday. A police investigation found that the 45-year-old victim from Askov was walking on a frontage road when he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 59-year-old John Harry Neubert who police believe was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The victim was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Neubert is being charged with felony Criminal Vehicular Operation and is currently being held in the Benton County Jail.
