A St. Cloud man is recovering after the vehicle he was driving was hit by another vehicle that ran a red light. St. Cloud Police were called to a personal injury accident at Highway 15 and 3rd Street North just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

A police investigation found that 68-year-old Alvin Bernard Weber was southbound on Highway 15 when a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Todd Gary Ritter of Albany hit him travelling westbound on 3rd Street North. Police say Ritter ran a red light before hitting Weber’s vehicle. Weber and a passenger were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Ritter was issued a citation for disobeying a semaphore.
