Award winning author Sherman Alexie will be speaking at St. Cloud State University. The event is sponsored by The American Indian Center and will take place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 in Ritchie Auditorium. A book signing will follow the event.

Alexie’s book "The Absolute Diary of a Part-time Indian" won the National book Award and was used as a common reader during the fall semester at SCSU. Tickets are five dollars for the public and free for SCSU students and staff.
