Three people were injured when the pickup they were riding in lost control and hit a ditch. Stearns County Sheriff Officers were called to a one vehicle accident with injuries on County Road 2 near County Road 139 in St. Joseph Township around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

49-year-old Nicolasa Puente of Cold Spring was driving a 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup with two children on County Road 2 when the truck lost control and crossed the southbound lane of traffic before resting on its side in the West ditch. All three people received minor injuries and were taken to the St. Cloud Emergency Room.
