The Stearns County Sheriff’s office has released the name of a male who was found in open water in Rice Lake on January 27th.

Police and DNR officers discovered a body floating in open water on the west side of Rice Lake. The body was then transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.

The body was identified as 65-year-old Michael Clark Hickman from Paynesville and was last seen driving his ATV on Rice Lake Thursday Evening. The ATV remains in the lake.
