Archived: “A Peace of My Mind” Art Exhibit on Display at St. Cloud Public Library
A new documentary exhibit by Twin Cities Photographer John Noltner entitled “A Peace of My Mind” will be on display at the St. Cloud Public Library beginning on Saturday. “A Peace of My Mind” is said to combine art and story-telling to explore the meaning of peace. In the past two years Noltner had interviewed 52 different people regarding their thoughts on peace. These individuals include Holocaust survivors, a Buddhist minister, a homeless man, and many others. The exhibit is made up of black and white photos of the subjects. Full audio from the different interviews can be downloaded from the project’s website, www.apeaceofmymind.net. It is encouraged for viewers to download the audio interviews, and listen while viewing the photos. The exhibit will be open February 19th through March 19th, and open during regular library hours.
