An accident at the intersection of Division Street, or Highway 23, and 33rd Avenue South Wednesday night sent one person to the hospital.  Police were called to the scene around 10:15 p.m.  They learned that a 17-year-old Watkins resident made a left-hand turn into oncoming traffic and hit a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Fadumo Elmi Farah of St. Cloud.

Farah was taken to the hospital, but his injuries were not life threatening. The 17-year-old was cited for failure to yield right of way on a left-hand turn.
