Archived: Advocate for Victims of Domestic Violence Comes to SCSU
A specialist who works with Native American women living with domestic violence is coming to SCSU. Survivors of sexual assault, dating violence or domestic violence and stalking are invited to join Belinda Brennan for a two-hour healing workshop. Brennan is a former domestic abuse advocate, and is now the Community Wellness Coordinator for the Oneida (oh-nigh-dah) Nation of Wisconsin. The workshop will be held Thursday (10/21) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Voyageurs Room South. Brennan will also provide a one-hour presentation at the American Indian Center from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
