An Albany man has died after his gravity box flipped over on top of him in a farming accident Wednesday night.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says that 52-year-old Daniel Wielenberg was found underneath his gravity box by a family member. They were able to use a skid steer to move the farm equipment and Wielenberg was determined dead at the scene. A gravity box is an angled hopper style wagon on wheels that uses gravity to help with unloading.

The Sheriff’s Office says that it appears that a corn bridge had begun to form over the top of the box and Wielenberg attempted to break the bridge and caused the box to overturn.
