The St. Cloud Salvation Army is announcing the start of the annual FoodShare campaign, which is the largest food drive in the state. The March Campaign is an event that unites St. Cloud area corporations, faith communities, schools and civic groups for one month to focus on the issues of hunger and raise cash and food for the state’s food shelves.

The campaign has been raising money and collecting donations for food shelves for 30 years. Nearly half of all food distributed annually is collected during the FoodShare campaign. Every dollar donated to Minnesota FoodShare during the March Campaign goes directly to food shelves to purchase food for the hungry.
