Archived: Armed Robbery at St. Cloud’s Bingo Emporium
St. Cloud Police are on the lookout for an armed robber after an incident at the Bingo Emporium, located on the 2800 block of 1st Street South. Police say around 6:30 a.m. Monday morning a white man posing as a maintenance worker knocked on a door to gain entrance to the business. According to the victim, a 63-year-old woman from Albany, the suspect pulled a hand gun once inside and demanded money from the safe. The victim told the suspect that she did not have access to the safe, he then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white man 35 to 40 years old, with an average build standing 5′ 3" to 5′ 6" with short sandy colored hair. He was last seen possibly wearing large black sun glasses with a light blue baseball cap, light denim jeans, and a dark blue jacket with white stripes and a Nike logo on the back.
