A SCSU student has earned the Minuteman Scholarship from the U.S. Army.
U.S. Army Sgt. Rachel Grothe says ROTC Reserve Cadet Tyler Datzman has won the scholarship which is worth $10,000 per year and includes a monthly stipend of $420 and a book stipend for $1,200 a year.
Datzman is from Reimer, Minnesota. He’s a former enlisted soldier in the Active Army and wants to become a member of the Army Reserve. He will use the scholarship to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
